Congratulations to Laurie Thompson who won the Clemson
Vs Extinction painting. The painting by Ed Spera
entitled “Extinction is Forever” was part of a
promotional free raffle used in conjunction with tickets
entitled “Clemson Vs Extinction” in which money raised
was used to fight poaching in India.
The idea is for Clemson’s Tigers for Tigers organization
to eventually “sell” as many of these donation tickets
as Death Valley has seats. The Clemson family can fight
the extinction of our mascot of the wild and become a
world leader in Tiger Conservation. By all giving a
little we can save our Mascot.
Again thanks to everyone who participated in the first
year of this fundraiser. Although this fundraiser has
ended for now, Tigers for Tigers at Clemson will
continue to be working hard on various other efforts to
help Save Tigers in the Wild. So thanks for your
involvement and please contact Tigers for Tigers at
Clemson for more ways to get involved.
