How To Help
Get Involved
Clemson people are amazing. Likewise you can help by
just educating everyone you know and don't know about the
Tigers' situation in the wild. People themselves are
great at discovering initiative ways to help. We
believe in the people especially Clemson people.
Likewise to become a member of Tigers for Tigers all you
really have to do is be a Tiger that cares about Tigers in
the wild.
Donate to The
Clemson Family Cause
When you purchase a Clemson vs. Extinction Ticket you are
basically making a donation to Clemson University's Tigers
for Tigers organization we then take those donations and
pretty much give the entire majority to the areas we
have done extensive research on to ensure we are maximizing
our efforts to Save our Mascot in the wild.
Donations for the Extinction ticket cost only $5.00. You are
welcome to donate more if you feel so led to. What has made
our tradition so grand here at Clemson in athletics is that
the Clemson family all gives a little to make HUGE
differences and success stories.
Below you will find a break down of where the donations go
to.
Where the Money Goes.
There is little overhead costs for the Tigers for Tigers
Organization. In fact there is next to none since the
faculty Advisor is already paid through the university pay
roll and the rest of the official members are all
volunteers. The only amount taken out of the donations is
for the cost of printing the educational information and
that is partly matched by the University.
So here is the Break Down of where the money from these
ticket sales will go:
50% of the money will go to stop Tiger poaching in national
parks in India through our involvement with
The Tiger Trust
fund in India
25% will go to International Educational efforts to motivate
the world to get involved in the necessary legislation and
activism to save our mascot in its native environment.
25% will go to Future Tigers for Tigers for future activism
trips to India where students themselves become the solution
to the many problems surrounding the Tiger habitats that are
the cause of their demise. Some as mentioned above will go
to fund the projects here in Clemson to raise awareness of
this cause.
